Regiment Population Matters

I refer to all those who have noticed a significant drop in our strength over the last 3 weeks after the summer tourney, i believe that is not due to members only interested in the tournament, but i think that is because a number of us have pledged to mp.
Despite staying in relic for as long as any one can remember, i think going to MP is good experience.

So, once again, i think it is time for us to recruit people, however with stricter measures this time.

We are currently needing sitters and strong poccers.

When i say strong , i mean those which can handle 1 poc by themselves, i.e revs , medic squard etc. .

Hence same old, i think we can use the 5,76,32 or 22, rest stat and mayber the sitter stats your can intro ?

All members are allowed to recruit, however, when you recruit kindly ask them to send you an sgmail of their stats and units and you vet thru them.
If possible, kindly forward his details to spongebobz as well.

I willl further address this problem again when i have the time after IMF , meantime, i ask that members can still with the regiment through tough times, I think i have been here long enough to see the regiment or many regiments fall due to a short period of inactivity.

Regiment Makeover

Hi,

As we all know the tourney is way behind us, though we loss, but we did put up a good fight for a relic team.

As times move on, so must we.
I will be missing in action for some time as i will be involved in the IMF worldbank meetings as support staff, as for Xiaozhu, aka spongebobz, he will be having hols soon, so he will take charge.

If i am not wrong, he has a long list of things he wants to do in this hols of about a few weeks.

Okie , first up , we will have what every one hates most, UNITS CHECK. Try not to take this too offensively, we are doing it so we can win more only , not to do it to make every one suffer and retrain his units.

First up, for me i think maybe we should ban non gold chims. I feel that chims is rather useless. just a personal view. Of course feel free to debate it on the tag board.
Unless you gold it or have really many units (tactor). If not chims seems abit to useless.
I want to model this regiment as a full time end game regiment, where we have little for fun units and more of for serious units.

For those of your who get what i mean is to model it the way SADX used to be.

We are have already achieved stability in population, thanks to the influx of new and old players who recently joined our DA family. We have already did the SINGABOMBZ model of standarising units, which work out very very well.
I plan to continue with that. For all of your who bought pigs which i am seeing quite often now.
I thank you very much. I know pigs are like very boring haha. but effective.

Either way , lets take things up one more level to further sharpen our units for our stats.
This way, i.e clouters, the leaders can call poc /assign poc easily. Clouters rein podas , poc c4 at 0600. for instance.

So many be can refine our units to suit the regiment needs. For the next month ,we will hunt regiments, however, we are still concentrating on our victory maps and standard maps.

For now , i need to solve the problems for end game and vic, notice i did not really address the main problem with our regiment yet, which is the sitters portion.

So now we just need to concentrate for everyone to have about 3-4 sets of eg units, maybe 1 set of miner/aa and least one set of poccers for non clouters.

Tactics for Tourney

Okie . those whom i mailed back about units ur should know what to do. If not the rest will have to depend on urselfs
see below, i have broken ur into 5 groups the poc defenses 1,2 and poc 1,2 and also hunter

Okie i called this teams cuz i dunno why is the poc yet. so once iknwo the map, i will say poc defense 1, ur will be incharge of c2 poc, then all those in poc defense 1 will jus concentrate on c2 poc.

only poc 1, players can split to help repoc other pocs.

in the game, i would like minimal talking. unless u spot things like nukers where. or something.
try to maintain the discipline to keep to ur own poc when assigened. i know its primary schoolish but victory depends on it . we have a huge grp of ppl. so i need the organising is going to be the key.

Also please give way to those camoing.

Brief Sketch of Co-Ord Meeting on 8 Aug

Glad some of ur could turn up , we have about 25-30 who attended. And the feedback given have been really helpful.

As promised , I am writting a synopise of what happened, for those who missed the meeting.

Pt 1 : Population , it is agreed that we arent facing any population problems at the moment.
Nitro highlighted that the population may even increase with the influx of some members from some troy regiment. We also decided that there should be some QC / Recruitment officer and we will task some members for it. The polling point will be up in a matter of days, can nominate the members for this on the the tag board.

Pt 2 : Units and Stats. Okie , there was a lot of argument, either way. At the end we decided that eduers are to have pigs. Short ? Sweet ? Do mail me if u are eduer and do not wan pigs, can make a few exceptions with valid reasons.

Pt 3 : Ranking Matters, it is said that some leaders log off without assigning another to lead and also , members do not call poc. We also agreed that we the members of DA will call for the poc and will do it. REMEMBER AH!.
Other ranking matters are Lacris and zSupper , being nominated to take ranks and display their leadership. Ranked members are once again reminded to lead or else yield the wing to some one who is more capable (by nitro ) haha.

Pt 4 : Summer Tourney ; See the other post for this, abit long.

Pt 5 : Any other matters : Moon Fang Highlighted the need of greater control of units and cohesiveness for the regiment. Stricter control of sitters / poccers by tasking. Do give me your feedback on this.

The meeting started at 1731pm (cuz SMAP was late for 1 min) and ended eventfully at 1820 (go watch NDP parade lol)

Tourny Details

Firstly, would like to inform all that the being in team 1 doesn’t mean you are more pro and being in team 2 doesn’t mean you are not good. Just that I put those who want to try hard for it. Bottom line, I will try to ensure everyone has the chance to get the medal. Here is what I extracted from a friend who is in US :

ScheduleFirst round(32 matches, 64 teams) will be during the weekend. (18th - 20th) The following rounds will be on weekdays. Championship match will be on Saturday, 26th. More detailed schedule will be announced soon. PlayerYour character should only be played by you. If it is discovered that someone else played your character during tournament, your team will be disqualified. Your account may be banned for account sharing. TeamThe signup page will open soon. Leaders will need to signup on that page, set the team password, and pick a team slot. Once that has been setup, other members of the team may join. PR limitsEach team will be limited to a maximum PR of 240. Only teams with at least 180 total PR will be eligible for the tournament. The PR limit for the actual tournament will be set at a soft cap of 180 PR. This means that the remaining 60 PR will be used as substitutes during the match. If the team cannot fill at least 160 PR during their match, they will automatically forfeit that match. CharacterYour character will be copied to the tournament server on the 18th(Friday) at noon. You will NOT be able to buy/sell/upgrade your unit on the tournament server. Your character is the one you will use in the tournament server. Elite heroes onlyYou should maintain elite hero status during tournament period at all times. Elite hero status will be needed when you sign up for the tournament and when you login to tournament server. Team memberYour teammates may be from a different faction or planet. For example, you can make a team with people from Morgana Prime and Relic. Medals and rewardsMedals will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and all other participants. To get the participant medal, you should be on the tournament server on your scheduled time. Actual medals will be given out after the entire tournament event has ended. Other rewards will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd team. ViolationIf someone is found cheating during the battle, the team will be disqualified and the player may be have their account banned. Speed hack, Network packet hack, other client/server hack will be punished in a serious manner. Unexpected mass crashIf the server/client crashes due to critical mass, KRU will decide whether to give a rematch or assign a winner.
